Omkarananda Ashram, Sree Chakra Pranapratishta, Winterthur, 18.Feb.2024

18.Feb.2024, 9:30 am onwards ¦ Anton Graff Strasse 41, 8400 Winterthur

On Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 9.30 am the largest, traditionally prepared Srichakra outside of India will take its place in the Omkarananda Ashram temple at Anton Graff Strasse 41, 8400 Winterthur.

As an outer representation of the inner subtle body, the Srichakra contains an extremely powerful presence and energy. This is why it has been of great value to yogis and yoginis for centuries. This unique Srichakra weighs almost 300 kilogrammes and was traditionally crafted in Kumbhakonam, South India, over the course of a whole year with mantra repetition: from the five sacred metals (iron, bronze, gold, silver and copper).

As the seat of the Divine Mother, the Srichakra already radiates a wonderful energy and is intended as a place of divine power in Switzerland for recharging and deep meditative contemplation. The inauguration will take place on Sunday February 18 at 9.30 am:

Traditional priests will permanently invite the prana – the life energy – of the Divine Mother Tripurasundari into the Srichakra.

All are welcome to attend this unique event to mark the 50th anniversary of the temple.
