Nateschwara Youth Festival, 01.Jul.2023

The Nateschwara Akademie, Baden are organising a Youth Festival on 01.Jul.2023.

The Youth Festival, one of the first of its kind, will feature talented girls and boys of age 11 to 21 years, who are well versed in both Indian Classical and Western dance or music. The participants have to perform two items, one in western and one in Indian style, either dance and/or music. The Indian performance has to be in classical style.

The genre of the performance can be

• Indian classical dance (Bharata Natyam, Kathak, Kuchupudi, etc.),
• Indian classical music (singing or instrumental / if instrumental, which instrument!),
• Western dance (ballet, modern, etc.),
• Western music ( Classic, folk, pop, etc. – singing or instrumental / if instrumental, which instrument!).

The only caveat is both Indian and Western.
