Indian Consular Services in Zurich – twice a month

The Indian Embassy Berne, on the request from the Indian diaspora has decided to open a fortnightly consular service for Indian nationals in Zurich.

The inauguration ceremony was conducted on 27 November, 2018 by His Excellency the Ambassador, Mr. Sibi George. This service is available on the first and third Saturdays, with the first consular service day on 01 Dec, 2018. Most of the services provided to Indian citizens in the Berne embassy like Passport related services, OCI, Miscalleneous services like Attestations, Affidavits etc will be provided in Zurich on these Saturday mornings. A special Yoga class will also be conducted during these days from 9:00 to 9:45 am.
Please note: Some services like Visa related are not provided, like in Berne, please contact VFS or the embassy contact number for details.

The Embassy urges the Indian diaspora to make use of these services, bringing them to our doorstep. Based on the demand for these services, the Embassy might decide to increase the days for providing these services and also expand it to other cities in Switzerland. In addition to the reduction of the travel time and costs to Berne, having this service on Saturday is of great help indeed, for working people especially, from not just Zurich but all over Switzerland. We are indeed grateful to the Embassy for this service.

Timings: 10 to 1 p.m, every first and third Saturdays
Venue: 3rd Floor, Cherstrasse 4, 8152 Glattbrugg-Opfikon, Zürich
