 Dr. Sharmila Rao and Dhiviyaa Satkunanathan, two highly talented Bharatanatyam performers present DVIRUPA – two dancers, one Margam, two styles

Sharmila, who is a disciple of the Bharatanatyam Cheyyur style, and Dhiviyaa, who has learned the Kalakshetra style, both „visit“ each other’s style this evening and thus create a varied program full of exciting choreographies that are never seen in one single Margam.

The dance repertoire is accompanied by Shajinthavi Ketheeswaran (Kalavithagar, Isaikalaimani & B.F.A) for Vocal, by Vepoosana Shanmugaratnam (Bharathakalaimani) on Nattuvangam, by Aathisha Logithan-Uthayakumar (Isaikalaimani) on Veena and Lavan Rasiah (Isaikalaimani) on Mridangam.
